Cousin Annie's Weeding

3rd July, 2009. Friday.

Went to school as usual. Mum was suppose to go get report card today but teacher went home early. So too bad. Got home, last minute brother told me we're going to Mersing, Johor now. I was all unprepared. Had to skip addmaths tuition again. Went and bath, prepared my luggage bag and stuff in a short period. Was so messed up. My cousin Annie got back from Australia to have a wedding ceremony, that's why I went Mersing. She have a 2 months old egg:) Teehee. So, me, brother's, sister, cousin's and uncle went. Went separately tho. Left home about 2++. It was a long journey there and so i slept on and off. Driving half way, saw my sec brother car coming towards us. So my gila brother that is driving me, step the oil harder. They're very competitive in driving. Pfft-.- But it's fun. But no way a Kembara can beat a BMW right? So they were ahead of us. They got out of the house much later too.

When we're in the roads of Mersing, there were lots of Kelapa Sawit tress. Kinda calms me down. The city is just so polluted. But then, i still prefer the city. I don't think they have a mall there. Sad huh. Reach the husband's house at about 6++ nearing 7. They had like a family party for us and the rest. After dining there, they brought us to our budget hotel. I was thinking to myself, the hotel must be yucky cuz Mersing is like an undeveloped place, so yeah. But, I was very surprise when i saw the hotel. It's quite nice. At lease it is 3 star. And and and, there's Internet for me to use. Nyahhahaha. The name of the hotel is Hotel Havanita. I was paired in a room with my sis. All the rooms are different. Though mine is not the biggest, but I feel it's the comfiest:) After cleaning ourselves up, all of us went to a room to discuss how to torture the groom the next morning.

4th July, 2009. Saturday.

Woke up early and got ourselves ready. Went to the hotel's cafe for our breakfast. When we're finishing, we saw the groom and the heng dai. Quickly went up to the bride's room and lock the door. We made the groom and the heng dai do pumping and went down again to the road to sing a love song for the bride and got extra extra ang pau's hahaaa. It's my first time experiencing these sort of things. So the chinese believes that we have to reach by 9. So we couldn't make him do much things. We left the hotel and to the groom's house. When they were honouring their parents with tea, we sat outside for some refreshments and not forgetting taking pictures.

Went in for photography session next. We have lots of time before weeding dinner so my eldest brother suggested that we should rent a cruise and hang out there. I was like overly joyed. But then, haih some of them didn't want to. So then, plan cancelled. Went back to the hotel. Had some chit-chats outside our rooms. Eldest brother didn't want to waste time doing nothing so he went exploring somewhere. I don't know where.

Went for lunch at a Seafood restaurant nearby. After that, went to look for a saloon to do our hair. But in the end we did it ourselves. Had our nap after that. Woke up at about 3.30. Took our bath, dressed up,... Was ready at 5.45. and went down to the lobby to wait for the rest. Uncle and family stayed beside our hotel which was Timotel hotel. They came over because they didn't know the way there. After all of us were down, then we followed the car that is directing us to the place. Reach the place in about 15 mins time. The restaurant is like hidden. It's like Kelapa Sawit trees then suddenly a restaurant in the middle. Hahaaa.

Okay nothing much for me to say during the dinner. It's like what people normally do during wedding dinner.

5th July, 2009. Sunday.

Woke up and packed our stuff. Got ready then went down to the cafe for our breakfast. (oh dang it, i left my bracelet) Next we went to a coffee shop where people say the teh tarik is very nice. So we went there and tried. Met a lot of familiar faces from the weeding. Their last day there too perhaps.

We then leave Mersing and headed to Malacca. Last minute plan. Happy me. Long time since I've been to malacca. Reach there during lunch time. Had lunch at a famous chicken ball rice shop. I can't remember the name of the shop. So like last time my brother was bragging about the nicest cake that he ever tried which was in Malacca. So then we went and try it. Went round and round because of the parking prob. Well anyway, the cake shop name is Nadeje @ Dataran Pahlawan. It is indeed the most special cake I've ever tried. It's not like the usual cake, when u bite it you can feel the layers of it. Aih, I'm bad at explaning, you people should try it if you happen to go to Malacca.

Left Malacca and back to KL. Reach home about 7. Bath then went down to Tropicana City Mall with my brother's to catch a movie, Transformer 2. Had our dinner at Otak-otak before going into the cinemas. The movie wasn't as great as i thought. I didn't like it. I prefer the first one.

Yes! Finally updated! Koko day tomorrow:) Food here I come.
